Texas Biker Magazine recently started asking the question; what do you do within your community in which you represent yourself as a Biker or MC?
Well the Legendz Family which consists of Legendz on Two MC and Lady Legendz on Two Motorcycle Club hosted their 3rd Annual Autism event today here in Central Texas. The event started with a ride that began at Horny Toad Harley-Davidson of Fort Hood located in Killeen, TX and ended at Horny Toad Harley-Davidson in Temple, TX. There were door prizes, a silent auction, 50/50 raffles, baked goods, face painting, food and fun for all. Statistically speaking about 1 in 68 children in the United States are identified with Autism and that is why events such as this are so important. This was a community event that focused on helping increase awareness, as well as promote the importance of early detection.
Proceeds from this event were donated to Happy Kids Autism Intervention Services located in Killeen, TX. They specialize in providing quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The goal of ABA intervention is to improve the quality of life so that the child can function independently and successfully within society. For more information about Autism go towww.autismspeaks.org. Thank you to the Legendz Family for being advocates for Autism awareness within the Motorcycle Community.
