The Snowdrops Foundation and Republic Harley-Davidson with the 3rd Coast Strokers are requesting the assistance and support of the Greater Houston Motorcycle Community!  Kevin Kline of 92.9 KKBQ and President of The Snowdrops Foundation will make the final stop of his unprecedented “Strides Across Texas” 481 mile throughout Texas at Republic Friday, January 01, 2010 before concluding at the Texas Children’s Cancer Center.  I committed to 1000 cycles to Ride with Strides and am respectfully requesting all clubs to participate.  Republic will pay each $10.00 registration and donate 100% proceeds to Snowdrops!  Please contact Minda Harris @ 281-295-1000 x163 or mharris@republichd.com and register!  Each participating MC will have their logo printed on a picture presented to the children of Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Routes and destinations are subject to change with little or no notice and more info may be added so check the calendar often for changes. Scroll to the very bottom of the page and there will be an update date so you will know if any changes have been made since the last time you looked and as always be sure to have your membership card for 2010(orange) and have a full tank of gas. In the event of a cancellation a notice will be posted in the announcements section on the home page at least 1 1/2 hrs before KSU.   We will be supporting The Snowdrop Foundation and Kevin Kline's run as he makes his way to The Children's Hospital. He will be arriving at the dealership on Friday morning.  Republic HD will also open at 9am for registration and serve coffee and donuts. Donations will be accepted, however none is required. This part of the event is merely to help raise awareness of TCH and what they do. Kevin is to arrive somewhere around 11-11:30am. When he is approx 30 minutes from arrival one of his posse is going to call Craig. When Craig receives that call the motorcycles will pull out of Republic HD and line up along the curbside lane of the feeder road. They will be in position to cheer Kevin along as he makes his final approach into Republic HD. Once he arrives, they will serve food. Kevin will probably make some speech and then he is scheduled to leave on the final leg of his journey to TCH at approx 12:30. His route from Republic will be straight down the feeder road of 59 to Bellaire Rd, turn right on Bellaire and take that all the way in to TCH. Shortly after Kevin leaves the bikes are to leave on a scenic ride to Bellaire and IH 610 to catch up with Kevin somewhere along his Bellaire route. The bikes would pass and wave to Kevin and arrive at TCH at approx 2:30pm. Kevin is scheduled to arrive at approx 3pm. This would allow us time to park and what have you prior to his arrival. TCH say that the bikes can park under the valet canopy.
