The HOUSTON MC's 3rd ANNUAL ALL-FEMALE BREAST CANCER RIDE
The Houston MC Community of female riders will be hosting the 3rd Annual All-Female Breast Cancer Ride on October 27 in Houston, Texas. This ride is the motorcycle community’s way of supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and remembering the women whom have lost their battle to breast cancer as well as those whom battle to live another day each day.
The ride is welcome to all female riders, and all women are encouraged to be aware of the dangers associated with this deadly disease by getting routine check-ups and performing daily self-checks for breast cancer. According to the National Cancer Society, breast cancer is the #1 cancer found amongst women. The African American race has the highest mortality rate while the Caucasian race has the highest incident race. This says that any race of women can be affected by the disease.
There is no registration needed in order to participate. All female riders are asked to simply show up on October 27. The meet up date and location as well as the riding route will be disclosed at a later date. Everyone that purchased t-shirts by the Sept. 15 deadline is asked to wear their t-shirts for the ride.
